Klaus Bender is the director of application development, automotive EMEA, at Celanese, a leading global supplier of engineering thermoplastics. He has 35 years experience in the plastics industry in roles across technical service, marketing, sales and application development, in Germany, Switzerland and the USA. He holds a Masters Degree in plastics engineering and an MBA. In his current role, he has helped Celanese invest in the personnel, equipment and tools necessary to support customers successfully make the transition from traditional to electric powertrains.
