Dietmar holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology from the University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen), Germany.

Dietmar is a member of the Top Executive Council of the Deutsche Post DHL Group. As Head of Global Solutions Design of DHL Supply Chain, Dietmar is supporting New Business Development and Existing Operations in more than 50 countries in a 14bn EUR division offering warehousing, transportation and value added services for leading companies.

Dietmar manages a global organization of >400 Logistics Engineers, responsible for translating ever-evolving business requirements into world-class logistics solutions. In his role Dietmar is driving DHL Supply Chains Innovation and Engineering Process and ensures game-changing innovations are applied in New Business Opportunities as well as in more than 2500 existing Supply Chain operations globally.

Dietmar has been in the Industry for more than 25 years, he joined DHL Supply Chain in 2016, previously he worked a.o. for a Strategy Consultant Company as a Member of the Management Team for more than 8 years and for an Automotive OEM in multiple Management Positions for more than 7 years.
