Dr. Annette Winterl studied chemistry in Leipzig and Erlangen, where she also completed her PhD with a thesis on organometallic chemistry. After a post doctoral period in Saarbrücken, she joined EPEA GmbH – Part of Drees & Sommer. She now works at EPEA as a team leader and scientific consultant, with a focus on material health and product circularity. Together with her project partners, she develops innovative and circular systems for different industries according to the Cradle to Cradle Mindset.
