Zentrum für das Engineering Smarter Produkt-Service Systeme (ZESS)

ZESS (Center for the Engineering of Smart Product Service Systems) is an interdisciplinary research center that belongs to the Ruhr-University Bochum.

Our goal is to support the transformation towards a more sustainable economy. To achieve this, we take a holistic and interdisciplinary research approach to innovative technologies and service business models. At our research center, we bring together scientists from fourteen different disciplines of engineering and social sciences.

Together, we are working on solutions for the industry of the future.
