Thomas Klein (48) has been Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans since March 1, 2025.

Thomas Klein joined the former DaimlerChrysler AG in 1999 and began his career at Mercedes-Benz Vans at the Düsseldorf plant, before moving to the DaimlerChrysler headquarters as a marketing specialist. After various positions in the Mercedes-Benz Sales and Retail Organisation in Germany and South Africa, he led Sales for the Overseas Region with responsibility for the strategic and operational sales activities in nearly 180 markets. From 2019, as President and CEO Sales & Marketing in Dubai, he managed the General Distributor office of Mercedes-Benz Cars in the Middle East before assuming responsibility as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea Ltd. in 2021. In 2023, Thomas Klein became Vice President Sales Planning & Product Management Mercedes-Benz Cars and Integrated Production Programme in Stuttgart.

Thomas Klein holds a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt (BA)) and an MBA from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, with a focus on Business Management.
