Philipp is an expert for sustainable battery materials working at Henkel Adhesives Technologies on battery recycling related topics. His focus topics include the area of bonding and debonding of adhesives within the battery that enable circular economy and the possibility to repair, reuse, remanufacture and recycle batteries.

Previously, he has worked as a consultant for battery materials at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Furthermore, he worked as a cost and production engineer focusing on benchmarking state-of-the-art batteries at AVL List GmbH.

Philipp holds a master’s degree in Process Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
