Patrick Dinger took over the management of the Opel brand in Germany in November 2023 and is responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the traditional German brand on the domestic market.

The 41-year-old was most recently responsible for the Citroën brand in Germany as Managing Director at Stellantis Germany GmbH.

Patrick Dinger holds a Master’s degree in International Management from SH Berlin and began his career in the automotive industry in 2008 at Mercedes-AMG in the Marketing & Dealer Network Development department.

In 2014, Dinger took over as Head of Dealer Network Development in the DACH region for Maserati before becoming Head of Germany at DS Automobiles in August 2016. From October 2019 until the end of 2022, Patrick Dinger was responsible for Citroën’s Austrian business.
