Jens Kahrweg is the head of the System LSI Divison of Device Solutions Europe, and overseeing Samsung Semiconductor Europe’s operations of the System LSI business unit. During his career at Samsung, Jens Kahrweg has played a pivotal role in the European subsidiary’s System LSI business growth and success. As a semiconductor business expert, he has been critical in making Device Solutions Europe a key player in the European System LSI automotive business segment. Under his management and leadership, the European System LSI team won several automotive projects worth a combined $1B in revenues over lifetime. Jens Kahrweg’s knowledge and experience has been key in this success. Jens Kahrweg has a 23 years’ track record in the semiconductor industry including in-depth hardware and software product insight as well as customer experience with multiple European automotive OEMs and Tier1 businesses. Jens Kahrweg joined Device Solutions Europe as a Senior Director and Head of System LSI Division in 2019. He was promoted to Vice President in 2022. Prior to his career in Samsung he held senior management positions in marketing, sales and field application engineering at Infineon, NXP and Atmel and a general management position at Savari, a US start-up headquartered in the US. Jens Kahrweg holds a M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Karlsruhe University and an MBA in marketing and general management from Open University Hagen. He is a member of Munich Network, Business Plan Competition (MBPW) as a coach, and of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Munich. He is also a member of the Alumni network of Karlsruhe University. Jens Kahrweg received a scholarship from Munich Network for the Entrepreneurship Academy for Management in 2001. He is also a recipient of an IAESTE scholarship for internship and final study project in 1994/95.
